Colore Del Canale
"Colore Del Canale" is the sixth painting in my series "Serie di Venezia," capturing the unique scenes I’ve witnessed in Venice. This piece is a slight departure from the others in the series, focusing more on the splashes of color found in a muted alley. It’s one of my personal favorites, but more importantly, it’s my wife’s all-time favorite painting I’ve done so far. She’s so attached to it that she doesn’t want me to sell it - hence the current price tag. Buyer beware, haha.

Painting Details:
- Art Size: 24"w x 18"h
- Pre-Stretched Canvas, personally prepared with Gesso and an additional original painting “under coat”
- All materials used are a mix from mid-late 90’s and contemporary replacements
- Brushes; Grumbacher Bristle, Flat #2, #3, #4, Round #1, Winsor & Newton -Bristle Filbert #2, Princeton Bristle Flat #2, #3
- Paint; Winsor & Newton Artist Colour, Winsor & Newton Winton, Grumbacher PreTested (back when it was good) and Gamblin Artist Oil. 16 different base colors mixed to hue and varying thickness. Liquin and Colbalt dryer agents used to thin paint and speed-up drying time
- Final painting was sealed using 2 coats of Gamvar High Gloss after three (3) month “drying” time
Custom Frame Details:
- Frame Size: 26”w x 20”h x 2 1/8”d
- Shadow Box style frame made of Red Oak by the Artist exclusively for this painting in 2020
- Shadow width ¼” from canvas to frame and the frame edge width is 3/4” wide
- Frame is Stained and Varnished with 2 coats of Dark Ebony Satin finish
- 100lb. rated picture cable (overkill I know…) through stainless steel eye-hooks is used to hang the entire piece. (6lbs. total weight for canvas and frame)

All Original Artwork (Limited Edition Prints are printed and framed upon order) will be inspected, framed if needed and packaged upon order completion. Please allow up to twelve (12) business days for the "production" of your artwork before shipping. With all Original Art Piece orders, shipping is complementary within the contiguous United States and Canada. Upon ordering, a tracking number will be sent to the email provided.

If an item is damaged in transit, please email us within seven (7) days of receiving the order. Photographic evidence of the damaged artwork is required and the original packaging will be needed in order to process a replacement order.
