Far Peak
"Far Peak" holds a special place in my heart. Created in the late 90’s as a gift for my mom and dad, it was my proof that I’d attended art school, haha. My dad built a custom frame, and it hung in their dining room for years - an everyday reminder of me for them. This piece is also one of my favorites because of the palette knife technique I experimented with. It’s thick, textured, and truly represents that period of my life. The sentimental value is priceless, which is reflected in the price.

Painting Details:
- Art Size: 23"w x29"h
- Pre-Stretched Canvas, personally prepared with a blue tinted Gesso “under coat”
- All materials used were current “models” from mid and late 90’s
- Brushes; Traditional fine point Palette Knife, Grumbacher Bristle, Flat #3, #4, Fan #2
- Paint used; Winsor & Newton Artist Colour and Grumbacher PreTested (back when it was good), 14 different base colors mixed to hue and varying thickness
- Final painting was sealed using 2 coats of High Gloss Damar Varnish
- “Custom Frame” made of real wood, crafted and stained to Collector’s taste

This original work is a Custom piece and cannot be duplicated. Having said that, I welcome the opportunity to discuss making a similar Original Commissioned Piece (it will NOT be a copy, but shall have the same feel as the original).
All Original Artwork (Limited Edition Prints are printed and framed upon order) will be inspected, framed if needed and packaged upon order completion. Please allow up to twelve (12) business days for the "production" of your artwork before shipping. With all Original Art Piece orders, shipping is complementary within the contiguous United States and Canada. Upon ordering, a tracking number will be sent to the email provided.

If an item is damaged in transit, please email us within seven (7) days of receiving the order. Photographic evidence of the damaged artwork is required and the original packaging will be needed in order to process a replacement order.
