"Serie di Venezia No. 3" is the third painting in my ongoing series capturing the unique and tranquil scenes from my travels in Venice, Italy. This piece builds upon the style of the first painting in the series, depicting a quiet alleyway early in the morning, before the tourists arrive and the city comes to life. The absence of people in this scene is what makes it so special - it captures Venice in its peaceful solitude, a rare and beautiful moment that only those willing to wake up early can experience.

Painting Details:
- Art Size: 18"w x 24"h
- All materials used are a mix from mid-late 90’s and contemporary replacements
- Pre-Stretched Canvas, personally prepared with Gesso and an additional original painting “under coat”
- Brushes; Grumbacher Bristle, Flat #2, #3, #4, Round #1, Winsor & Newton -Bristle Filbert #2, Princeton Bristle Flat #2, #3
- Paint; Winsor & Newton Artist Colour, Winsor & Newton Winton and Grumbacher PreTested (back when it was good), 14 different base colors mixed to hue and varying thickness. Liquin and Colbalt dryer agents used to thin paint and speed-up drying time
- Final painting was sealed using 2 coats of Gamvar Satin after three (3) month “drying” time
Custom Frame Details:
- Frame Size: 20"w x 26"h x 2 1/8"d
- Shadow Box style frame made of Red Oak by the Artist exclusively for this painting in 2018
- Shadow width ¼” from canvas to frame and the frame edge width is 3/4” wide
- Frame is Stained and Varnished with 2 coats of Dark Ebony Satin finish
- 100lb. rated picture cable (overkill I know…) through stainless steel eye-hooks is used to hang the entire piece. (6lbs. total weight for canvas and frame)

All Original Artwork (Limited Edition Prints are printed and framed upon order) will be inspected, framed if needed and packaged upon order completion. Please allow up to twelve (12) business days for the "production" of your artwork before shipping. With all Original Art Piece orders, shipping is complementary within the contiguous United States and Canada. Upon ordering, a tracking number will be sent to the email provided.

If an item is damaged in transit, please email us within seven (7) days of receiving the order. Photographic evidence of the damaged artwork is required and the original packaging will be needed in order to process a replacement order.
